Our youth area for the 22nd Zwickau City Festival – water playground, cosplay, games & more

It gurgles and bubbles, it sloshes and splashes – the water playground. When water becomes an experience, children’s eyes are guaranteed to light up!

At the Zwickau City Festival, the idyllic Mulde paradise is transformed into a splashing adventure land for little explorers. The water playground invites children to splash, splash and marvel.

Whether in the summer heat or under curious wellies – here you can splash around to your heart’s content. Small canals, water wheels and splashing fountains make the water cycle tangible and bring science closer in a playful way. The focus is on shared experiences: children build dams, redirect watercourses and discover the power of the flowing element. But it’s not just the fun factor that is high – the water playground also invites you to linger. Parents can find shady spots to watch while their children get active in a safe environment. A wet and cheerful highlight of the city festival that combines nature, play and education – surrounded by greenery and right next to the Mulde. Who’s joining in?

Our play area will also have various other big and small (play) surprises in store, and on Sunday the gates will also open for a cosplay photo and games meeting.
