Media workshop
Media offer us a wide range of possibilities to satisfy needs such as relaxation, adventure, success, adventure, curiosity and/or the acquisition of knowledge. Media is not just limited to writing – images and sound are just as much a part of media design as the appropriate use of them. This is precisely the focus of our media education programmes and the resulting projects. A competent and responsible approach to everything to do with social networks, but also the joint exploration of topics such as photography, film and sound. The projects can be initiated by the users themselves or are offered by us.
Laptop workstations are available in our media workshop, for example for the digital editing of photos or films. There are also tablets, photo and film technology for project work.
Our cultural and social pedagogues are on hand with help and advice and also regularly offer media projects.
The media workshop is always open during the opening hours of the youth centre in the Old Gasometer or at additional times as required.

Our goals include
- To create access to enable participation in the digital world,
- to support people in becoming media literate by developing and practising digital rules with them,
- encouraging young people to design media products responsibly,
- working close to the real world
