Zwickau Partnership for Democracy
As part of the federal “Demokratie Leben!” programme, the Zwickau Partnership for Democracy has been based in the Old Gasometer with a coordination office since 2015.
The aim of the Zwickau Partnership for Democracy is to strengthen civic engagement for a democratic community. Citizens regardless of origin, nationality and citizenship are motivated to get actively involved. The measures draw on existing networks and stakeholders and actively involve them in their implementation. Engagement is understood as the basis for democratic participation. Low-threshold access is offered.
The coordination office assists with project development and the application process. It also initiates events itself.
